The most powerful, beautiful, activated dance performance I have ever seen... is always the annual “Student” Performance at the Nouveau Devadasi Fusion Temple Dance Festival.
For three years now, I have been a servant of this vision called the Fusion Temple Dance Festival, a confluence of traditional and modern sacred dance.
This year, 13 master teachers from different lineages came together to share their treasures.
This year’s beautiful body of participating dancers BLOOMED through the immersive process: each teacher and style of dance had a marked effect on each dancer. I saw a unique goddess being further revealed in each dancer throughout the festival.
It is beyond fulfilling to see the creative empowerment of women through interpretive temple dance... and to see them reveling fully and shamelessly in the beauty of their own feminine form and spiritual power.
